So my family got this crazy idea to wander west and make plans by the day. This was one of our impromptu stops. It's a windmill in Elk Horn, Iowa that was shipped in pieces out of Denmark, apparently only a few years before it became illegal to sell Danish windmills.
Pretty much everyone in that town is Danish. A lot of them speak Danish. It was very confusing to see signs in Danish. It was a lot of Danish.
Hey are we still going to the movies tomorrow, around 11:30?
